The bright colour palette, slick and practical furniture, whimsical motifs, IKEA, Marta Maas-Fjetterstrom and Josef Frank textiles are all hallmarks of the Swedish design aesthetic that I love. I was completely blown away by my recent visit to Beata Heuman’s office/showroom at 188 Hammersmith. It really demonstrates the attention to detail and the sense of humour that one sees in Swedish design.
